The Cannabusiness Key is a free, monthly, web-based speaker series featuring some of the foremost thought leaders in both the marijuana and hemp industries. Started in 2016, the Cannabusiness Key has brought together dozens of interesting speakers exploring a wide range of topics that are relevant and timely for cannabis operators, owners, and investors alike.

About This Event:

Edibles have enjoyed a long run as one of the most reliable growth sectors in both medical and recreational cannabis markets, and the expansion of cannabis-infused beverages has been an exciting development within it. Keef Brands , led by CEO Travis Tharp, has been on the cutting edge of this growth, having established distribution throughout some of the largest domestic markets as well in several Canadian provinces. On July 27th, Travis will join host Jason Klein to share the challenges he has faced and lessons he has learned in building one of the most widely recognized beverage brands in a fractured cannabis marketplace while maintaining consistency and spurring innovation to satisfy customer demands. Join live at 12:00 PM ET on July 27th to ask Travis your questions directly.

Meet the Speaker:

Travis Tharp is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Keef Brands, the top selling cannabis beverage brand in the U.S. in 2022, according to BDSA. Headquartered in Colorado, Keef is currently in 11 markets with plans to expand into 3 more by the end of 2022. Prior to joining Keef Brands in 2017, Tharp spent six years in the tech space launching, building, and scaling two-sided marketplaces, including Handy (now part of Angi) and HopSkipDrive. During that time, he led international operations teams and oversaw the integration of multiple acquired marketplace companies. Tharp graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
