Illegal sales of cannabis products have always occurred and they always will. In New York City, where I’m from, consumers have had access to extensive home delivery of black market weed for at least forty years, when I was an adolescent in the late seventies. What legality confers is the ability to do business that the state, though not the Federal Government, legitimately. Meaning, you can’t be prosecuted for your lawful business actions, you have a right to keep your profits (assuming you pay your taxes, local, state, and Federal ), and you have a right to sell the business to someone else. As an owner of Oregon cannabis businesses, I very much appreciate these rights. Reply
