Hello Hilary, with The Blinc Group we have testified at the hearing in July and requested the exemption of tariffs impacting our industry. Please see the hearing testimony here: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/trumps-trade-war-will-stifle-the-cannabis-industry-300685576.html The rationale behind this trade war is skewed and doesn’t make any sense for our industry. This administration is talking about bringing jobs back to America and avoiding the IP and know-how to be relocated to China. But in our case, both the jobs AND the know-how have always been in China, never in the US. Reply
Well the way things are goin now it might stop them from poisoning a few folks and slow down the lawsuits from contaminated products from so many thinking that cannabis was so easy to grow big batch without boatloads of chemicals if you don’t know what you’re doing! It won’t matter any ways as doubt ANY vape company (and very many cannabis companies now) now will be standing after full legalization and coming lawsuits as we got the second string in now to test the waters! Its not like the Chinese haven’t stolen everything from us yet… but if we keep thinking that THEY make better and cheaper products so…. lets just buy from them.. We will never make anything else in America.. I agree with Steve Tuck in the fact that all of the bullshit products sent to Us.. from Them.. are just that.. BULLSHIT. Heck if anything lasts longer than a year.. Dumbass Americans just throw it all away and buy another.. where as.. pick up a hoover sweeper from 10 yrs ago.. or a Kitchen Aid Mixer of 20 yrs ago.. they still work TODAY.. Good bye CHINESE Junk.. and Hello to American production… AGAIN.. Reply
