PRESS RELEASE
Native Roots Co-Founder Brings Record of Success to Executive Team

Denver, Colorado – March 9, 2018 – Green Tree International, parent company of Amercanex, is pleased to announce that Josh Ginsberg will be joining the Executive Team as a Strategic Industry Consultant. A lifelong entrepreneur with more than a decade of cannabis expertise, Ginsberg co-founded and built the Native Roots brand from the ground up to become the largest legal marijuana production and distribution company in the world.

“Josh’s vast experience, wealth of knowledge and proven record for strategic business growth is second to none,” says Steve Janjic, CEO of Amercanex. “He is one of the key leaders of the cannabis industry. We’re thrilled to bring him on to our team and excited to see what he accomplishes at Amercanex.”
While CEO of Native Roots, Ginsberg grew the company from two to 20 retail locations and nearly 700 employees, managed operations of the largest indoor cultivation facility in existence at 200,000 sq. ft., and oversaw the production of more than 30,000 lbs. of cannabis a year. He was one of the first to enter the Colorado cannabis industry, holding badge number 54 out of more than 70,000 issued by the Marijuana Enforcement Division.
“Native Roots was one of the first Colorado dispensaries to understand both the cannabis market and customer experience for cannabis,” says Robert Mercorella, Amercanex Chief Operating Officer. “Josh understood what the customers wanted and anticipated where the market was going before anyone else did.”
Ginsberg is responsible for the team that built and established a complete Marijuana Infused Production facility (MIP) where Native Roots produces all styles of concentrates using every industry-approved extraction method. Native Roots is also responsible for producing MarQaha and their own inhouse line of Pax Era pods, very recognizable and well-known edible and vape brands. In the near future, Lord Jones will be added to their repertoire of industry-leading offerings.
A native of Colorado, Ginsberg earned dual degrees in Economics and Computer Science from Bucknell University. He was selected for JP Morgan’s Young Executive Program in New York City, a highly regarded internship program that selects industry innovators. Ginsberg lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and two daughters.
