PRESS RELEASE
Reductions at 2 stores include offering $4.80 grams, $90 ounces every day
PORTLAND — Two Shango Premium Cannabis stores in Oregon have enacted comprehensive price cuts across the board on flower, extracts and edibles. Shango has implemented everyday new flower prices out the door and reductions also have been made for all extracts and edibles.
“We are taking aggressive steps to make cannabis and cannabis products more affordable for our customers,” said Shango exec Shane McKee. “We’re not just making cuts for a day or a week or a month. Our cuts are indefinite and they include our top-shelf flower.”
Shango Premium Cannabis dispensaries at Win Sivers near the airport, and the Harold location downtown have all restructured their prices in all four categories of flower. There will be new pricing for Specials, Premium, Platinum and Private Reserve pricing, which includes Chong’s Choice strains.
Daily specials of flower are now “Out The Door” at $4.80 a gram, $15.60 for an eighth, $26.40 a quarter ounce, $48 for half ounces and $90 for ounces of notable strains that include sales tax. Strains include Cosmic Glue, XJ-13, Gorilla Glue, Strawberry Cough, Mango Kush, Sour Diesel, True Blue, PR Cookies, Dark Knight, Diesel Dip Cookies, Jesus OG Kush, Slymer, Blue Dream, Lemon OG and Platinum Cookies.
For the other three price structures, Premium prices are $7 a gram, $21 and eighth, $36 per quarter, $66 a half and $120 an ounce, Platinum prices are $9 a gram, $29 an eighth, $51 a quarter, $96 a half and $185 an ounce, while Private Reserve and Chong’s Choice strains are $11 a gram, $35 an eighth, $63 per quarter, $114 a half and $216 an ounce. All are out-the-door prices.
McKee added that up to 30 new strains will be joining the menu.
New extract prices do not include tax but have been reduced to $20 to $40 a gram for shatter, .5 gram vape cartridges are now $30 and up, and 1.0 gram vape cartridges are $50 and up.
For edibles, prices have been lowered 15 percent on all Shango edibles.
“We want to align ourselves as the leader in lowering prices,” McKee said. “We pledge to our customers our products are always indoors, always fresh and always at the best prices.”

“This is a new cannabis market entering in a competitive era,” McKee said.” We acknowledge a shift in the industry and we are taking the lead and changing the landscape.”
