The Pennsylvania Department of Health yesterday announced the names of 27 companies that will be permitted to sell medical marijuana across the state next year, notching another milestone in a program that could lead to cannabis being available by 2018.
In suburban Philadelphia, six are slated to open in Montgomery County, three in Bucks County, Â two each in Chester and Delaware Counties. Previous tenants of the selected sites ranged from a Dairy Queen in Devon to an advertising firm in Elkins Park.
