Wana Brands Continues Growth with Addition of Brand Ambassador

PRESS RELEASE

Boulder, Colo. (Oct. 17, 2016) – As the Cannabis industry celebrates record sales, Wana Brands–the maker of Colorado’s No. 1 infused gummie–is expanding its ranks with the addition of marketing, communications and social media expert Adria Such as Wana Brand Ambassador. Wana Brands co-owner Nancy Whiteman made the announcement. Such will be based out of Wana Brands’ Boulder headquarters.

“The quality, consistency and potency of Wana’s products and the professionalism with which we operate are well-known – but our work is far from done,” Whiteman noted. “That is where Adria comes in. Her expertise in all social media platforms and online marketing and her stellar writing skills make her the perfect candidate to spread the word about the Wana brand.”

As Brand Ambassador, Adria promotes Wana Brands through a variety of customer and dispensary facing activities, including working with the sales team to schedule and provide regular presence in dispensaries, managing budtender trainings and other Wana events, working with customers on co-op advertising and social media and providing POS support for dispensaries.

“I have always admired Wana Brands, so I jumped at the opportunity to be an advocate for the company,” Such said. “I look forward to building Wana’s relationships with our partners, patients and customers, and ensuring that more people know about Wana and our unmatched product line.”

Prior to joining Wana, Such was Marketing Coordinator, Social Media Manager and Creative Director at The Farm Co., where she managed all advertising, social media and art direction, as well as website maintenance, SEO, blog and copy writing. Previously, Such was a Media Production Assistant at Such Media Inc. in Okemos, Mich., where she managed Google Adwords and Groupon and email campaigns, created package designs and maintained project schedules across departments.

Some of Such’s accomplishments include executing successful in-store and private company events, significantly increasing social media and web presence and boosting in-store sales through the use of effective advertising campaigns and SEO optimization, and successfully managing three different brands and implementing merchandise production. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the College of Communications Arts and Sciences.
