2016 CBE HOTLIST: Supercritical CO2 Extraction Equipment

Welcome to the 2016 Cannabis Business Executive Supercritical CO2 Extraction Equipment HOTLIST. This list represents the top suppliers of one of the more costly pieces of equipment that Cannabis Industry Producers and Processors have invested in to drive profitability. This list is intended to be a roadmap of what will be considered in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for this category.waters

Companies included in this year’s list are geographically dispersed, with Colorado and Pennsylvania (2 companies each) leading the way.

CBE considered the following criteria and spoke with each company included to determine this year’s list.

  1. Number of markets served and/or licensed to serve
  2. Number of clients served in 2016
  3. Breadth of services offered
  4. Innovation
  5. ASME, ETL, UL, and State Peer Reviewed Certifications
  6. Industry recognition

Some of the companies included were also in the revenue-based 2016 CBE 100 Ancillary Business list that was published a few weeks ago. For this list of Supercritical CO2 Extraction Equipment, revenue was not the driving factor in determining who Producers and Processors should be inviting to the dance when looking for a supplier. CBE also plans to provide a separate HOTLIST ranking BHO Extraction Equipment to consider when looking for a best of class service provider and partner later this year.

As usual, hope this helpful!

  1. There is a company not on this list that probably should be. Fast Freeze Extraction Technologies has unique mid market technology that offers polar and non polar extraction in its system that has Co2 and water and alcohol extraction scalable from 2500 psi upward to 10,000 psi.
