PHOENIX — A new survey about the public’s attitude toward marijuana found Arizonans are some of the most enthusiastic in the nation about the drug.
Real estate site Estately ranked Arizona the tenth-highest state when it comes to marijuana enthusiasm in the country.
To compile its rankings, Estately used certain criteria, such as the number of marijuana users, average price of the drug, general interest in cannabis and the drug’s legal status, for each state.
While recreational pot is not legal in Arizona, the medicinal marijuana laws were found to be fairly relaxed. Estately also took into consideration the legalization ballot measure, which is set to be voted on in 2016. [Read more at KTAR.com]
