San Francisco Robbers Target Marijuana Delivery Drivers

A pair of marijuana delivery men were robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco’s Glen Park neighborhood Wednesday, officials said, the second such incident in less than a month.

Just before 6 p.m., the two weed deliverers, ages 25 and 27, were headed to drop off their cannabis cargo near the corner of Cayuga Avenue and Badger Street, a few blocks from the Glen Park BART Station, when they were approached by a man with a gun, said Sgt. Michael Andraychak, a police spokesman.

The man demanded the weed, which the two delivery men gave up without a fight, before the robber fled in a waiting car, which was described as a white compact, Andraychak said.
No one was injured, but no arrests were made either. [Read more at the San Francisco Chronicle]
