Last week, while setting up an interview with a lab testing service CEO to do their company story, the CEO complimented what we are doing here at CBE Press, and then they mentioned that MJ Freeway, a non-publisher, constantly scooped us.
Much to my chagrin, my first reaction was that, yes, they put out a daily newsletter as a marketing promotion to keep their name in front of potential customers (Amy and Jessica are superb marketers!) and that they do re-post some significant stories.
My second reaction was to point out that in just three short months into our launch, CBE has posted well in excess of 780 stories — some aggregated, many unique and original — and the only way to truly benefit from our exhaustive efforts and depth of coverage would be to subscribe to our full roster of e-mails (we now publish three) and to bookmark our site, www.cannabisbusinessexecutive.com. By doing that, you won’t miss any of the 5-10 daily stories, or the 3-5 company or original stories, or the regularly updated resources that we post and update regularly in our efforts to be the one stop shop for all of a Cannabis Business Executive’s daily industry informational needs.
In this weeks issue, we have three stories provided by industry experts (John Davis, Matt Walsatter and Hilary Glass), John Hollon’s weekly Last Word column, and two new company stories, one about Julianna Carella’s Auntie Dolores brand and the other about American Cannabis Consulting and their bifurcated strategy to help companies not only win licenses but also to provide access to the tools they need to run their PPR (Production, Processor or Retail) facilities.
Circling back to my conversation, he agreed to follow us more closely to see how we were scooping the competition each and every day and providing timely relevant information to help the buy and sell side of the industry run their businesses more effectively and efficiently in search of the Holy Grail, maximum profits! So, no longer chagrined and happy that I hadn’t lost my marketing and sales touch either, I went back to work on doing just that with my team of committed professionals! Enjoy this weeks content and the new CBE Technology newsletter that we are launching Wednesday.
