Georgia Patients Can Now Get Their Medical Marijuana Cards

It’s time for patients who are eligible for medical marijuana to get inline to obtain their “pot cards.”

Tuesday, the Georgia Department of Public Health opened its Low THC Oil Registry, a database of Georgians permitted to have cannabinoid oil.

“’Low THC Oil Registry’ cards cost $25 – the standard fee for obtaining a vital record in Georgia – and will be valid for two years from the date issued,” the Georgia Department of Public Health reported. “After that time, cardholders will need to again consult with their physician about their continued eligibility and to request that they update and confirm their information into the registry.” [Read more at the Atlanta Business Chronicle]
